BOOKING A GIG AT THE BLIND TIGER BARS
‘It’s easy. Just drag an absolute minimum of 100 people along and we’ll take their money’. Actually, that’s NOT how THE BLIND TIGER works.
We love good music, and while we need to shift beer to put on nights, we’re first and foremost after quality music. It’s no good phoning up and saying “we’ll ram the place out cos we’ve got lots of mates” if your music sucks. We book proactively, in the sense that we hear of good bands from our regulars or bands that have already played The Blind Tiger and get them to play. We also take recommendations from people in the industry that we work with and trust.

Please Include a link to some music preferably on a page that has some biographical info such as were you’re from, what gigs you have coming up and generally a bit of info about yourselves.
You can also send in CDs by post because that’s how we found some of our most favourite bands. We promise to listen to all demos.

TIPS FOR SENDING IN DEMOS
Some of this stuff is really basic but you’d be surprised how few bands do it. Basically if you look organised, there’s a better chance of us wanting you down, so please enclose:
- A CDR – make sure it’s burnt properly and has the band name, contact number, email and website on it.
- A Brief biog. No need to hype yourselves up; just tell us your background, what gigs you’ve already played etc and why you'd like to play the The Blind Tiger.
- Alist of forthcoming dates would also be useful.
